Cisco VG224 Comm error

                   Hi All,

I have been given the task of getting a VG224 setup for faxing. I currently have one number working just fine on port 1, Inbound and outbound faxing working perfectly. Our setup is a 25 pair emphanol cable punched down on a 66 block, and I run the cross connects over to get tone to the faxes. Last week we ported over another number that is a fax machine to be used on this gateway. This is where my issue lies. I can send outbound faxes just fine, Everytime I send a fax to this number, I get a comm error 22 01. The odd thing is the faxes still come through. But you get the error on the fax machine you are sending from.

Mind you, the fax machine hooked up to this number having issues is a very old fax machine, is it possible that its just not compatible with what I am trying to do here

I dont believe its bad wiring, the 25 pair cable is brand new, and I have solid dialtone on the fax.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thank you

Start mentioning system and version you are using, protocol used on VG224, and how do you connect to PSTN.

Hi Jason,

Per Paolo's suggestion, I have moved your discussion into the correct area.
