Hello,
I hope I'm asking this question in the correct forum.
We are looking at using Cisco WebEX for our telephony solution (very small SMB). We were just wondering if Cisco is using Cisco Unity Connection as the voice messaging service??? We were wondering if it's identical to Cisco Unity (i.e. end-user interface) or is it a completely different voice messaging platform? We see a lot of value with Cisco Unity, as it's a very powerful voice messaging system.
Thanks so much!

If you are referring to Webex Calling, then no it does not use unity connection for voicemail. It is based of the Broadcloud platform.
Please checjk out these guides for user examples of the service:

And the admin portal.

Hello Ultraboy
Cisco WebEx calling, previously known as spark calling is a complete cloud solutions. Your calls, communications will be through APIs to Cisco cloud. This solution is easy to deploy and support. No doubt Unity stable solutions and easy to mainatain but similarly cloud has its own benefits. WebEx calling is using different different services to maintains seemless communications, provide calling features and all you need WebEx Admin Portal, no where to go. It does use broadsoft platform but you already know broadsoft is Cisco venture now.
