Cisco Wireless Phone-8821 registration issue

Hi All,

Could someone please help us in troubleshooting of cisco wireless phone-8821 model. very often phone goes to unknow state. please help us how ti fix and also is there any doc who can help us in understanding the registration process and configuration for cisco wireless phone.

When the phone drops registration, is the phone still connected to WiFI?

dont have idea as this is in remote place could you please let me know what i need to check in WLC and how we configure if i am registering the brand new 8821 phone in call manager

Well, go through the basic troubleshooting:
1. Is the phone authenticated to the WLC?
2. If the phone is authenticated to the WLC, can you "browse" the IP address of the phone?
3. What firmware is the phone running on?
4. What QoS is the SSID set to?

We need to determine if this is a wireless network or a CUCM issue. So far, we haven't seen any evidence of either.
