Cloning Cisco PLM server

We are moving UC appilcations (cucm, cuc, uccx, cer and cup, plm) from one datacenter to another.

So, we are cloning them and transferring it to another DC. Now, when we clone it changes the MAC address.

How does it affect PLM server? PLM also takes new MAC, does it affect licenses?

I know we have to move licenses for UCCX but not sure about PLM.

The PLM documentation explains that for a standalone PLM the best practice is to hardcode the MAC address as that is now used to tie the licenses to the server.

If the MAC address changes, licenses are no longer valid.
