CME 12.x SIP Plar

I'm looking for an example configuration for PLAR in CME 12.x.  Both the source phone (x1001) and the destination phone (x1002) are SIP phones (8851).  1001 is located in an unattended lobby.  1002 is an admin assistant.

Thanks for your help.

Hi there

I haven't tried PLAR in CME. But typically the below config could help. Please try out and keep posted.

Config-1

ephone-dn 1

number 5000 ———– this number may be avoided (No need to call a courtesy phone)

intercom 4000 barge-in

ephone 1

button 1:1

autoline 1

As soon as you will go off-hook, 4000 will be dialed.

Config-2

ephone-dn 1
number 100
trunk 200

ephone 1
button 1:1
autoline 1

As soon as you will go off-hook, 200 will be dialed.

Hope this helps !!!

Cheers
Rath!

There is no concept of PLAR for IP Phones. PLAR is mainly for analog lines. There are a couple of workarounds for SCCP Phones but the same commands are not available for SIP CME. So basically you cannot achieve PLAR like functionality with SIP Phones on CME. You would need to get a PER going through your Accounts team.
