CME 8.6 Software

Hi,

I am trying to install CME 8.6. The CME router is 2911 model and is newly purchased from cisco. I am trying to download the full bundle of CME 8.6 software from cisco site and install it in the router. But I could not find the expected file with name CME-full-8.6.0.0.tar. I have gone through the download path and I have downloaded the file named "cme-151-4Mv1" from the cisco site.The downloaded file is a zip file and the expected file name of cme-full-8.6.0.0.tar is not inside that zip file.

I would like to know is there any mistake from my side or cisco has changed the instalation procedure of CME.

I have attached output of the directory flash: which was run on the same 2911 cme router.

Kindly guide me. Thanks in advance.

It appears Cisco didn't follow the same process in this release file. It seems the TARed each individual phone firmware file but not the GUI. The contents of it look on par with what you normally would have just in a different arrangement.

Did anyone find an easy way to extract all files needed for CME onto a 2900 series router?
