I hit a very strange issue about AMWI. I have a UC560 with SPA5xx phones. It's a simple deployment. All I want is to turn off AMWI. We don't have anyone having hearing problem, it is sort of annoying. it's going to be superfluous to us.
I tried change add 'mwi-type visual' under ephone-dn, but it didn't work.
Also tried to change from outcall to unsolicited, still no luck.
Anyone could shed some lights on how to disable it, it would be much helpful and appreciated.

Hi,
try to create MWI-OFF and MWI-ON dn. it will solve your issue.

I don't think so. OP is referring to AMWI - Audio MWI. Not to regular MWI.
