Hi all,
I have a problem getting 7911G's to register on my CallManager Express. The problem appears to be that the LoadFile on the phone is saying term11.default rather than SCCP11.8-3-3SR2S.
I had one phone out of two working last night and it was the one with SCCP11.8-3-3SR2S in the LoadFile field but now both phones say term11.default. I have unzipped the Firmware ZIP to the routers' flash:. I tried a 123456789*0# reset, which pulled all files from the TFTP on the router (I did DEBUG TFTP EVENTS)
Was I supposed to not upload or rename something from the ZIP ?
Thanks in advance

No match is needed between your CME version and your firmware version.
You CME version depend of your IOS version. See the matrix here:

Problem solved - I'm not sure how the phone originally registered but I needed to create the CNF-Files

I have CME v9.0. Can I still run the latest version of firmware on the 7911G or must it match to the level of the CME installation ?
Also, was I correct to say that having LoadFile as term11.default is stopping the phones from Registering ?

Yes the latest version 9.4(2)SR3 is supported. If you need to upgrade to this version, from a release earlier than 8.3(3) to Version 9.3(1) or later, you must first upgrade your phone firmware to an intermediate version (8.3(3) to 8.5(2)) and then upgrade to 9.3(1).
In your case try installing any intermediate version between (8.3(3) to 8.5(2). Download the zip, upload to the flash. Bind in TFTP with alias command. Create CNF files. Reset the phones
Hope this helps!
