CME Caller-ID Blocking

Hi Guys

I have a requirement to set some specific rules on outgoing caller ID.

1. Calls from EXT 2900 -> 2949 (External caller ID blocked, internal calls not blocked)

2. Calls from EXT 2950 ->2999 (NO blocking at all send one fixed caller ID of XXXX2950)

Using translation rules we've been able to achieve this (of sorts) by sending a NULL number on matches to 2900 -> 2949

However the carrier does not block and sends the default. Note on a CLID strip that ISDN Q931 codes for caller ID are different.

CLID Strip

Calling Party Number i = 0x01C3, N/A

NULL

Calling Party Number i = 0x0180, N/A

Does anyone know how to actually make htis work?

Cheers

Mike

For 1, you need to configure COR and send the call via a DP that has 'clid restrict'.

2, is done with translation-rule.
