HI having an issue with hardware conf on CME. The conferencing works fine for example. extension A rings extension B. Extension A then conferences in a mobile phone 1 (fine) extension A then conferences in 2nd mobile phone (fine). All speak fine to each other.
The problem is if mobile 2 hangs up it screws the conference. Any other phone can leave and be rejoined etc but if mobile 2 hangs up at any point disaster!!! I have not been able to test a 3rd mobile phone but the mobile phone 2 is enough to need a fix in place.
Any ideas much appreciated.
Regards
Dave

Hi Dave,
I am guessing the is a standard ISDN Q931 line direct to the carrier (no PBX tandem switching / SIP)?
The customer states calls to mobiles are an issue, have they tested to normal land lines?
What version of IOS/CCME are they running?
Can you explain what happens when the mobile drops out, call ends or voice path is lost ect?
Nice to 'see' you again,
Craig

Hey how do Craig ?
Yes just a normal E1 for all calls int and ext. When the 2nd mobile disconnects the other users just get a constant tone. To be fair we have never tested with Ext pstn landlines as mobiles are just convenient however they will expect mobiles to work !!!!
does this help and version 8.0 for the CME

Dave,
Life been good for me, I hope life has been equally good for you and the guys!
I agree we have to find a resolution for the mobiles, it was just the way the posting read suggested it may have been affecting mobile calls only. Wondered if it was some kind of delayed disconnect issue.
I know it's a long shot but have conference tones been configured?
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/admin/configuration/guide/cmeconf.html#wp1021172
If the have try turning them off as it may be a 'feature' regarding conference join / leave tones.
To look further we would need a few debugs,
debug voice ccapi inout
debug isn q931
debug ephone state
debug ephone sccp-state

Hi Craig,
Aye removed the join and leave tones.
Cisco TAC have the traces at the mo. Just wondering if anyone had seen this before.
Cheers
Dave
