Hi,
i have CME 8.6 and have configured a local directory with external numbers. But if i dial from a number which is in the local directory from outside i only see the number and not the configured name in the Local directory?
What did i wrong?

Hmm sounds good but don`t help me... :-/
i have an entry for an external caller
directory entry 13 067434165129 name External Caller
i have added the two commands under telephony-service
service dnis overlay
service dnis dir-lookup
But if the caller from external comes in i can only see the number and not the name. :-(
Any idea?

service dnis dir-lookup

Hi Jason.
To achieve this, Paolo Bevilacqua wrote a script, number2name that you can find at http://www.ciscoscripts.com
Very useful
