CME - Incoming calls ring but caller gets busy signal

Davidwagman1
Level 7
Level 7

Hi Everyone,

Got the outbound SIP working with my 2851 and call manager express 8. Inbound rings at the proper extension, but the calling phone gets a busy signal. I pulled a SIP trace and it says "Internal Server Error" but I can't figure out the problem, so I'm hoping one of the experts on here can point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance!

David

can you do another test call and send a

debug voip ccapi inout.

Please rate all useful posts

Beats me - the area code here is 516, and all the DIDs, called, and calling numbers are areacode 516...

I'll send you my full config, it has the DIDs 516403xxxx in there, but thats all I can think of. The DIDs are in dial-peer voice 1 voip, and there are voice translation-rules for the DIDs -> exts. Currently have 3 extensions set up, 101, 102, 103.

Thanks for your help

David

Ok please send that alog with a nerw 'debug voip ccapi inout' trace

Please rate all useful posts

Your xlation rules were not correctly configured. I have sent you a PM on the right configuratiions. Configure and test again

David,

its  00:20 am GTM Uk time. I need to go to bed..So please let me know if you are okay now. I am just waiting to sort this out for you, so please respond quickly.

Please rate all useful posts

Just sent you a PM, no luck. I think that your config changed it from the translations I had set to significant digits, so maybe I'll try changing an extension # to match the last 3 of the DID and see what happens.

Thanks for your help and sleep well.

can you try and remove codec g711ulaw from dial-peer 1. and test again...

Please rate all useful posts

No luck, will send you ccapi again.

Thanks,

David

Did you remove my translation profile..from dial-peer 1?

Please rate all useful posts

No, I didn't. Should I?

Do two things..

1. remove my xlation profile from dial-peer 1

2. remove codec g711ulaw from dial-peer 1 ( no codec g711ulaw)

With my xlation profile extension 103 should ring..but remove it so your extension rings only

Please rate all useful posts

Got your PM, removed your translation profile, and codec g711ulaw from dial-peer 1, the extensions ring again, but the calling phone still gets a busy signal.

Thanks for your help.

Best,

David

Ok, send me a debug voip ccapi inout, debug ccsip messages, debug ccsip all.
