Hello,
I want to integrate a CME with Alcatel, OmniPCX model Enterprice 7.1. with 2 BRI interfaces.
¿Is this integration supported with 2 BRI (4 x channels)?
¿What features are supported between phones in the Alcatel enviorment and phones in the Cisco CME enviorment?
Thanks
Jonathan

Hi
Should work fine.
Expect calling in each direction, and possibly names if you are lucky. Otherwise it will be like calling over the PSTN so you would not expect anything like callback, pickups, etc to work.

Thanks for your help Aaron,
¿Does it support conference and call forward between the two systems?

Hi Jonathan
Yes - you should have no problem forwarding over it, and as a private circuit it should also be capable of displaying the 'forwarding' number which you wouldn't get on the PSTN.
Re conferencing, from a Cisco handset you could conference in participants from Cisco, PSTN and the Alcatel.
Alcatel should be able to dial into your meet-me numbers (once a conference has been started from an IP phone as usual).
This is very similar to the way you would get PSTN-based conference participants in - a BRI is basically going to work exactly like a PSTN link, but with the ability to send over forwarding number (which typically wouldn't make it throught the PSTN).
