I am not talking about trying different time zones. Have you tested with Olson ? Did you review the CME admin guide for this ?

Have you tried setting up Olson for these phones ? Review the CME admin guide for details.

Hi Nipun Sigh Raghav,

I have already tried to change to different timezone and it worked only for cisco ip phone 3905, but did not for 78xx phones. All IP Phone 3905 (show correct timestamp-> South America Standard/Daylight Time -180 min GMT/UTC).
The problem happens only in 78xx display timestamp. All other features in 78xx works fine, inbound/outbound, conference, transfer, hold etc.

Daniel Sobrinho

Ah just saw this reply that you've tried other timezones and they have not worked. Have you tried to change the ntp broadcast type?

Hi,

As you mentioned I will do today the Olso timezone and keep you informed about the results.

About NTP anycast, I have change to broadcast, but without results after restart and reload services.

Daniel, have you tried to change the ntp mode to "directedBroadcast" instead of anycast?
Also, what if you change the timezone to a different value such as CET? Do the phones get the right time then?
