This is often asked if you had searched.
You must accept that. There is no license to upload.

Hi,
You need to activate the license to use the CME feature:

Jorge, step 1 link above is about activating UC evaluation license.
That is not applicable to the OP question, first because he may have a permanent UC license, and any case it is activated already, otherwise he would not be able to configure telephony-service at all.

Hi Paolo,
Yes, the procedure is for activating Evaluation Licenses as it says, however if you look at the Note, you'll find why I linked that procedure:
Note Starting with Cisco IOS Releases 15.0(1)M6, 15.1(1)T4, 15.1(2)T4, 15.1(3)T2, and 15.1(4)M, Evaluation licenses are replaced with Evaluation Right To Use licenses. Evaluation Right to Use licenses automatically become Right to Use licenses after the initial evaluation period. Follow the steps detailed in this section to activate an Evaluation Right to Use license.
Actually that procedure is valid for Rigth To Use Licenses, and UCK9 is one of those:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/sw_activation/SA_on_ISR.html#wp1151410
I just taught that could be important to mention this.

My question is very simple . how i can verify that i have permanent liecense in the router or do i need to purchase license.
10-17-2012 04:02 PM
Hi,
To be clear:
-After activating the UCK9 and Accepting the EULA, License will show as “Evaluation” time of 8 weeks
-When this time expires, it will become EvalRightToUsefor 12 years, that is the platform estimated life time
So you just have to wait until this "Evaluation" time expires to see how the license change to 12 years.
Also, please make sure to read carefully the links; to better understand the new Cisco Licensing Method on IOS devices.
