CME Presence with Extension Mobility

Hello,

I have a CME 8.6 running on a 2811 ISR.

It is currently configured with Extension Mobility. Phones are all 7960.

I want to implement presence and have followed the admin guide to do so, but I've come across a problem

blf-speed-dial command.

When trying to do this under ephone<tag> it says

"Please configure under logout profile for em enabled phone"

How does this work when it's configured for the logout profile and not the user profile?

I did try and configure it under there and it does not do anything.

btw I only have 1 logout profile for the entire system.

Regards

Felix

Hi

The BLF is to be configured in Logout profile only. See below link and see section "Configuring a Logout Profile for an IP Phone"

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/admin/configuration/guide/cmemobl.html

Command is

speed-dial speed-tag number [label label] [blf]

Hi Ron,

So in CME the phone appearance is a combination of

1) the voice user-profile

AND

2) logout profile

Which means I should have a unique logout profile for each user who is on EM and wants BLF?

Regards

Felix

Just to add that this is now working.

When you configure the BLF under the logout profile it "adds" it in the voice user-profile.

you can see the change when doing a show run, that the blf speed dial commands now appear under the user-profile.

Thanks

Felix
