hi,
I'm playing around with cme,
I have a 2811 and on cisco's web site in the documentation I found it says that it can support "MAXIUMUM NUMBER OF PHONES" 35.
now I wonder what this means, does it mean I can have 35 phones of any type my CME 7.1 can support?
ex: 10x 7931G, 10x7961G and 10x7975G and 5x7911 or .. how does it work?
documentation from cisco says,
ex:
2811, 35 phones,
2911, 50 phones,
3945, 350 phones.
thanks.

Correct, 35 phones of any kind will register with CME on this router, the max-ephones command will only allow you to configure it as such, and only 35 ephones will be configurable.
