Hello guys,
I am trying to make a hardware video conference on CME 8.6 with 9951 SIP phones.
When I add a third party into the conference the video stream stops working. The audio is still ok. Another problem I saw is that I can't even add a fourth party to the audio. This tells me that I am not using the hardware resource I have created.
My first question is if this is doable? And if it is doable what the hell am I doing wrong (I will attach my current config)?
Thank you very much for your help.

Seems normal that you cannot conference video in had-hoc mode. It doesn't have any of the sophistications needed for video conferencing.
Second, I'm not sure if multi-party hardware conferencing for SIP phone is supported, but if it is, that would be described in the admin manual - again, I have't looked.

If it is not possible to do it with an ad-hoc conference, then it is not doable on the 9951's because I can not do a meet me conference with SIP phones.
I did read the admin guide and other documents where it teaches you how to do a video hardware conference with the 3925 with pvdm3. I'm sure I can use this conference resource with SCCP phone but I can't get it to work with SIP phones.
Thank you.

Hi,
I did read the in CME 8.5 and 8.6 SIP phone not supported conference hardware, only in CME 9.0 and later versions are configured to enable hardware conferencing using its DSP resource.
That is correct?
