I have a C3925 router running IOS 15.7 with CME 12.0 with a security and UC license. CME is configured and working. I need to configure a remote 7975 phone for a remote worker. Is there a way to configure the VPN directly in the 7975 phone?
I have a working GRE VPN and I have used a second Cisco router and a 7975 phone over the GRE VPN but I would like to eliminate the extra router and only have the phone and powercube at the remote location.
Google has been no help.
There is NO ASA at either location and we do not have CUCM, only CME.
