CME with SIP Trunk Dialing Issues

Dear Experts,

I have a setup with a CME (Version 12.1) on Cisco 4331 Router. The SIP trunk is terminated directly on the router. All IP phones are registered with CME using SIP. We have 7942, 8841, and 8845 IP Phones.

1) We had an issue in dialing any external number. Suppose we dial 901123456789 (Consider it is the national destination). The CME used to the number 9 directly to the ITSP and used to get the 404 error (Calls fails). We have used "no digit collect kpml" on each IP phone and fixed the issues. We can dial outside.

2) But the command  "no digit collect kpml" caused a long delay in internal (between extensions) dialing. It takes almost 15 seconds to dial the internal extensions.

Can you please guide me how to solve this issue.

Thank You All

1) Can you post your dial-peers here. I am suspecting that you have overlapping dialplan.

2) Make sure your internal extension do to overlap with Dial-peer with T. In your case the internal extension should be anything other than 9.

Hello Abdul,

Please can you post the "show run"  to identify the matching dial-peers with the providers and check if there is any kind of overlaping?

Sorry for the late response. I was bit busy with DC Migration. The below listed is the current dial-peer

10 voip up up          99..                             0 syst ipv4:10.205.20.50 NA
11 voip up up          99200.....                    0 syst ipv4:10.205.20.50 NA
12 voip up up          9800.......                    0 syst ipv4:10.205.20.50 NA
13 voip up up          980[1-9]....                 0 syst ipv4:10.205.20.50 NA
14 voip up up          9[6,8][1-9].....             0 syst ipv4:10.205.20.50 NA
15 voip up up          901[1-4,6-9]........      0 syst ipv4:10.205.20.50 NA
16 voip up up          905........                     0 syst ipv4:10.205.20.50 NA
17 voip up up          900T                           0 syst ipv4:10.205.20.50 NA

There is no overlapping pattern as all internal extensions are 4 digit follows the 48XX seires.

Thank  You
