Conference Calls - Maintain Original Caller ID Information

Hi guys,

 

Is there a way to maintain the original caller ID information on the display screen when a call changes to conference.

 

Here is the scenario:

An office group has a shared DN on their 8851 phones.

When there is a call to the DN the first agent answers the call

Later, other agents join the call via barge. When the additional agents join the call, the screen display on the original phone changes from the calling DN to "conference"

 

I know that the caller details can be found using softkey -> show details, however, the agents would like to have to original call ID remain on the phone that originally answered the call.

 

Is this possible? I'm currently unaware of any setting that would allow this.

AFAIK you cannot, because you're actually reconnecting to the CFB at that time with a new call.
