System version: 11.5.1.10000-6
We have configured AD-Hoc conference as well as conference now feature.
While using
AD-Hoc conference feature we are able to see the conference list but not in Conference now..
Using Cisco 8851.
Is there any provision for that in cucm ?
We have even configured the soft key template for the same .
Any help will be appreciated .

Hi there,
Like JB nicely noted (+5) this is not a supported feature with Conference Now;
Feature |
Restrictions |
---|---|
Conference Now |
The host cannot mute attendees. |
Conference Now |
The attendee cannot mute the audio by entering DTMF digits. |
Conference Now |
The list of Conference Now participants is not supported. |
Conference Now |
Maximum number of participants in a conference is controlled by the existing CallManager service parameter "Maximum MeetMe Conference Unicast". It applies to both internal and external callers. |
Conference Now |
Maximum number of simultaneous Conference Now and MeetMe conference instances combined together is 100 per Cisco Unified Communications Manager CallManager node. |
Conference Now |
Video on hold is not supported. |
Conference Now |
The IPVMS software conference bridge only supports codec G.711 (ALaw & ULaw) and Wide Band 256k. If there is a codec mismatch between the calling device and the software conference bridge, a transcoder will be allocated. |
Conference Now |
|
Conference Now |
When the sets up a Conference Bridge, the conference will continue with the remaining attendees irrespective whether the host is present or not. If the host wants to rejoin the conference, an announcement to enter the Attendee Access Code is played if it is configured by host. The host cannot schedule or mute attendees; therefore, the host status is no longer valid. |

Greetings Jitender!
What should our IT Team look at if we do not receive entry/exit tones for external participants?
We do get entry and exit tones for those of use who dial our four digit code internally.
However, when external customers dial in there is no tone (entry or exit).
What do you think?
Thank you,
Gordon

Many thanks to both Jitender & Rob ,
If getting the list is not possible is there any provision for just a Numeric figure that states the number of attendees joining the conference ?

Hi,
Unfortunately no possible, you can always check the resource count if you are using dedicate "Conference Now" hardware\software conference resources. For example if you are using hardware conference bridge you can do "Show Sccp Connection" on the gateway.
You can always monitor software conference resources through RTMT

Does Conference Now support Encryption?

Can you test it from your end? I tested it and the conference stays unsecure.
