Hello,
I'm encountering an issue with Conference Now where external callers hear nothing but silence when dialing the DN. This occurs regardless if the host/organizer has joined or not. I'm using CUCM as the bridge and this is v11.0.1. I've tried the following troubleshooting steps to no avail:
1. Assigned Conference Now DN to my CIPC client (it rings)
2. Restarted IPVMSA service
3. Reset Conference Bridge
4. Confirmed CSS/RP are configured appropriately
5. Attempted to use a different DID
6. Confirmed PRI/T1 are in the correct MRGL
7. Checked incoming call codec:
VGW#sh voice call summary
PORT CODEC VAD VTSP STATE VPM STATE
============== ========= === ==================== ======================
0/1/0:23.1 g711ulaw n S_CONNECT
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Spencer,
What happens when you call Conference Now IVR from internal extensions?
Did you check the IVR config?
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/unified-communications/unified-communications-manager-callmanager/200181-Configure-Conference-Now-Feature-on-CUCM.html#anc8
Please let me know
Regards
Carlo

Everything is working as expected via internal extensions. That is the documentation I followed. As far as I can tell everything is configured appropriately.

Hi,
Watch out for this bug and follow the workaround and give it a try:
https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvb24480/?reffering_site=dumpcr
Also, can you try and set the Service parameter "Duplex Streaming Enabled" and set it to true and then test.
Regards,
Hitesh
