Hi Everyone,

We just upgraded our CUCMs from version 8.6 to 9.1. The upgrade was successful but it looks like we lost some datas (User, Phones, Profiles, etc...). There was a week of dely btw the software installation in the inactive partition and the actual switch version. We had some MACs in ther version 8.6 during this week but after switch version to 9.1 all thoses MACs are lost. Has anyone experienced this before.  I tried to use 7zip to untar the before and after backup files to compare but no luck. Anyone with any idea what can we do to resolve the issue.

Thanksl

You might have to revert to 8.6 before you make changes to 9.1, make sure your reset DBreplication and the cluster is healthy. Once that is done, go through the install process of 9.1 again and you should have all your data. Keep in mind, any changes made after the upgrade to 9.1 will be lost when you revert to 8.6.

I can't think of an easy way to do what you are wanting to do that this point.  Usually, keeping track of changes in an excel spreadsheet is ideal so you can see what was edited over time.
