Is there a way to configure a router as a phone with a extension so in a lab situation with two routers connected back to back via Fast Ethernet can call each other using csim start number command?
Thanks.

you will not be able to do that, you'll need either physical or softphones registered with the router configured as CME, or as recommended by Aman use FXS ports.

unfortunally i don't have those cards. I was hoping I can create a virtual phone or an extension that can response to phone call from another router in GNS3 environment.
