Hi,

How can I configure speed dial on an Analog phone when you are using VG224 and Call Manager 8.6.

Here is configuration I tried but I'm stuck after that, Is there anything else that needs to be configured on VG224 and also what would be the CM config :

VG224-1(config)#stcapp call-control mode feature
VG224-1(config)#stcapp feature speed-dial
VG224-1(config-stcapp-fsd)#digit 1
VG224-1(config-stcapp-fsd)#prefix *
VG224-1(config-stcapp-fsd)#exit

Thanks

Saima

Hi Saima,

It doesn't matters what kind of anaolg phone you have, unless it is connected via the VG224, follow the below steps to configure it.

  • Assuming that you have already added VG224 in CUCM, and have assigned the DN to the analog ports.
  • Go to your CUCM administration Page and navigate to User Management --> End user --> Search the user --> In controlled Devices, search the DN and select the DN/analog device that you want to associate with this user.
    • In Permission information, assign the "Standard CCM End users" to the groups.

    • Now access the URL https://:8443/ccmuser, login with the users credentials.
    • Go to User Options --> Device --> Click on Speed Dials and now start configuring it.
