Dear  Experts;

I ahve one cisco 2911 voice gateway will work with cucm 10.0.

Instead of T1/E1 we have  SIP line from the service provider.

The setup is simple SIP will be use to make incoming and out going calls from Cisco IP Phone.

my question is how to configure the SIP line in the voice gateway.

In traditional VG with T1/E1 we have one cable RJ45 for LAN connection and another for T1/E1.

For SIP line we will require only one Cable or two cable if we have only one SIP line.

Really appreciate your valuable answer.

As long as the Voice Gateway has an internet connection (i.e via its LAN port) then you should be able to setup a SIP connection to a Service Provider.

There are plenty of articles online which explain how to setup a Voice Gateway to work with an ITSP.

Thanks

Thanks for your valuable information.

I was able to finish the SIP line with incoming and outgoing calls.
