configuring FXS on gateway ISR

Hello all,

I have a gateway isr 4321 integrated with a cucm 11.5.

I have a E1 : group address 0530574100 to 0530574199 configured  every ip phone has their sda in incoming and outgoing call.(worked fine with four last digit)

i have port fxs 0/2/0, on gateway , my costomer  ask me to configure fax machine with port fsx.

the reserved number of fax machine is 0530574141 .

can you help me please

You would need a POTS dial-peer -

dial-peer voice 100 pots
destination-pattern 0530574141
port 0/2/0
no digit-strip

There is no need for a fax protocol since the call will be POTS to POTS. Once the call connects, the audio/fax tones will flow in-band. Ensure your E1 circuits are running clean and don't have any slip errors.

I tested the config but not working.

is there a configuration to do on voice-port 0/2/0?

There should not be a need for any config on the voice-port. Take the following for a test call -

debug isdn q931
debug voice ccapi inout

Hi,

Called number you receive is last 4 digits. Change the config to the below and see what happens:

dial-peer voice 100 pots
destination-pattern 4141
port 0/2/0
no digit-strip
