Hi all,
I have configure both Ad-hoc and Meet Me conference on CCM 4.3. In Meet Me conference, when i press ConfList softkey to display the participant, but it shows "the key is not active". Ad-hoc conference don't have such issue. Any one face this problem before?
By the way, is 7936 conference station support ConfList, able to display conference participants?
Regards,
Ethan

Hi Ethan,
The behavior you are seeing is the expected behavior. The ConfList softkey does not work for meet-me conferences, only ad-hoc conference calls. There is a feature request to implement it for meet-me conference calls. Details of the request are captured in bug ID CSCsa91857.
ConfList Softkey does not display members of a MeetMe Conference
Symptom:
"ConfList" softkey is not active during MeetMe conference.
Conditions:
User creates a MeetMe conference. When attendees start to join, the creator of the MeetMe conference presses the "ConfList" softkey to display attendees. User will receive the following message on the IP Phone:
"This Key is Not Active"
Workaround:
User has to create a Ad-Hoc Conference to be able to use the "ConfList" softkey to display a list of conference attendees
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Michael.

Hi Ethan,
My understanding of this feature is that it is only supported on Ad hoc conferences (not MeetMe conferences).Have a look and you will see that MeetMe is never referenced with the ConfList feature;
Conference List:The conference list feature provides a list of participant directory numbers that are in an ad hoc conference. The name of the participant displays if it is configured in Cisco CallManager Administration. Any participant can invoke the conference list feature on the phone by pressing the ConfList softkey and can view the participants. The conference controller can invoke the conference list feature and can view and remove any participant in the conference by using the Remove softkey.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note Only the conference initiator can drop any conference party. Any participant in the ad hoc conference can display the list of conference participants if their IP phone has display capabilities. When the ConfList softkey gets pressed, the list of conference participants remains static. The user must press the Update softkey to get the latest list. The list does not update automatically if any participant ends the call or a new participant is added.

ConfList is not supported on the 7936 only Remove Last Participant is available. I just tested this in the lab to verify :)
Removing the Last Participant from a conference
The IP Conference Station allows you to remove the last conference participant to join a conference call.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 1 During a conference call, press the Menu button.
Step 2 Select Call Functions, press the Select button.
Step 3 Select Remove Last Participant, press the Select button
Hope this helps!

"the key is not active here" points to your configuration of MRG/MRGL. Make sure the phone or device pool that the phone is in has access to the conference bridge.
