Hi all,

I have a strange issue here, when connect a new SIP phone, some random existing SIP phone will reboot. It seems the existing phones reboot itself to check if there is a new firmware, or something like that which cause the reboot. Any idea?

The phone is 8865, and the firmware is sip8845_65.11-5-1-18

Regards

Are the phone(s) connected to the same switch?

Yes, I think so. It relates to the switch?

I'd look first at the switch. Maybe you've got a faulty cable or the PoE allowance is exhausted, perhaps?

Hi Leo,

It happens on every new 8865 I connect to the network, not just one phone, so I don't think is the the cable. And power consumption of POE should be enough since we have plugin POE devices into all ports on the same switch before without any problem. I think something to do with the firmware.

Thank you
