Convert enterprise SIP load to 3pcc

Hi all,

I am having a hard time figuring out how to load a 3rd party load on a 8841. The phone is currently running SIP ver 10.2 enterprise. I am trying to load the 3rd part firmware so we can evaluate a phone SAAS provider. I tried lding from tftp and from CM btu I have a feeling it requires a conversion utility or it might be a no go? Any help would be appreciated. I tried TAC and they have not been helpful so far.

Hello danny,

You can not load 3rd party load in standart 8841.

The cisco guide is writing: " After upgrade to Enteprise image, the phone cannot revert to 3PCC".

If you want use 3PCC firmware you need purchase phone with right part-number. For example:

CP-8811-3PCC-K9=

Thanks Olek, I found the same also.I forgot to update the thread. It's Cisco's way of making you buy more hardware I guess.
