Are the voice messages on CUE stored in .wave files, I am in a situation where I need to copy the user voicemessages ( if it's some .wave files) and send them as an attachement to their emails. I don't have acces to CUE and will appreciate if someone can help me verify it.
Appreciate your help on this...

This link has the procedure for backup data that includes voicemail greeting and voice messages,
but I also in a post where,
they have an NM-CUE this wouldn't be an issue because you could just
IMAP into the mailbox and download the messages that way

Thank you, Viverma. I can't back the data and restore since I want to copy the files ( is it's .wav) and send it via email to the user. This is because we are switching from CUE to Unity VM system.
Thanks,
Anil

You have NM-CUE or AIM-CUE?

there's no way to pull these voice-mail recordings off CUE,
You can set up CUE 2.3 for message notification, where it will send a .wav
file to the users e-mail account when a message is left. You integrate this
with your e-mail server... So, if you were to configure this...the user
would have a record of the voice mail messages on hand to save. But right
now...if this isn't configured, there's no way of pulling them off CUE.
Here are your two options:
If you have an AIM-CUE, you can use Message Notification:
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/unityexp/rel2_3/cue_cl
i/ch_msgno.htm#wp1065257
If you have an NM-CUE, you can use Integrated messaging using IMAP, or
messge notification (same as above).
Message Notification:

i/ch_msgno.htm#wp1065257
IMAP:
