I've a cucm 8.5 (it's a cluster with two devices on VmWare machine). that works well.
The only problem is related to a cacorporate directory:
on the CIPC it works well, but on the cisco ipphones when I press the relatied key, oh the display appers " host not found"
I've checked the dns, and the configuration and for me it's all ok.
Can you you have any suggestion to help me?
Thanks in advance

Hi
CIPC uses the non-SSL URLs, those listed in ent params as 'Directories URL'.
Phones will generally use the SSL ones - listed below that as Secure Directories URL.
Check that the name for the SSL one is correct.
If it is, try restarting the TVS service on CUCM and then reset a phone and try again.

Hi
Basically to verify it you can browse to it (idieally with Chrome or Firefox as IE will hide often hide xml).
To be honest they look correct to me, assuming 172.16.2.240 is a CUCM server? I would:
1) Check an affected phone 'status messages' log in the settings. Look for messages saying 'Trust List Update Failed' (failed)... or 'Trust List Updated' (good). If it says failed you may have some larger problems!
2) Go into CUCM serviceability, Network Services Control Centre and restart the 'Trust Verification Service'. Restart a phone and test it again.

Can you try deleting ITL file from one of the affected phone and see if that makes any difference...

Hi Giancarlo,
Could you please go to Device >> Device Settings >> Phone Services and check if "Corporate Directory" is listed and if the "Enterprise Subscription" option set to true?
If it is, please take an screenshot of its configuration so we can check it; it should look like the one above:

Hi,
In CUCM, system>server...what do you have is it a hostname or ip address?
If you are using a hostname there, then do you have a DNS server configured for the phones..Can you send the configuration of one of the affected phones here using the method below
tftp -i 10.1.1.1 get SEP0000DEADBEEF.cnf.xml
change 10.1.1.1 to your cucm ip address, and sep00000..to one of the phone mac address.
To enable tftp client do this
open Control Panel > Programs and Features > click Turn Windows features on or off in left side > enable Client TFTP then click in OK
Please attach the phone config file here
