CP-8832-DC USB-C cable length limits

Using a daisy chain kit between two 8832 with a physical separation betweens tables in the room. Looking for information on USB-C cable lengths allowed between Smart Adaptor and 8832 units. Are there any extender options for these connections? The Smart Adaptor can be near one unit, so only need to accommodate the 2nd 8832 somehow.

@scooter4866 : Cisco IP Conference Phone 8832 base in charcoal color for North America. This also includes an adapter along with a 9.8-ft (3-m) USB-C cable.

@inderdeeps Thank you for this information, but we already have the units and cables. I am searching for a solution that will allow me to use the (2) 8832 with the daisy chain kit and provide extra length (25-30') for the USB-C connection to the 2nd 8832. We'll have to use floor boxes at opposite ends of the separated tables as the pathway between the 8832 and the Smart Adaptor of the Daisy Chain Kit. Hopefully there is a solution to do so.

Can you place the power adapter in the middle of the unit, so you have 6 meters to play with?  This guide has some layout recommendations: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/collaboration-endpoints/unified-ip-phone-8800-series/guide-c07-740942.html

I believe Cisco is adhering to USB-C power delivery specs, for which I found this site easiest to digest: https://www.cablestogo.com/tech/usb-c#!usb32.

@Stephanie Knoop  Very much appreciate the info...There isn't a lot of info on the daisy chain kit, but the USB-C cables must be passing duplex audio in addition to power so that both 8832 act as one. As I replied to @inderdeeps, the cable path required because of the table separation is a large (25-30') C shape that runs from the Smart Adaptor near the first 8832, then away to the table edge, down to the floor conduit, across to the floor box on the opposite side of the separated table, then up and back to the 2nd 8832. A category cable extender kit would be perfect here if that was known to work for USB-C.

Two 8832 base units with a daisy chain kit

20 x 36 ft
720 sq ft

Up to 22 people

Note:

For the recommended maximum room coverage for this configuration, the maximum distance between the two base units is 15 ft. The secondary base provides additional microphones and more robust sound within the conference room.

The minimum distance between the primary and secondary base units is 8 ft.

Requires a 36W power adapter included in the daisy chain kit

Note:

PoE is not supported for daisy chain.
