i have a call between to users. When I will transfer the call to an other user i search the user via the corporate directory. When i have take the right user the two calls will be set on hold. And nothing works.
BUT ... the call transfer via dn works.
and a easy call works when i dial via corparte directory.
the new firmware for 8841 is also on the phone.
i hope somebody can help me.
This seems to be a known defect with no fix for now.
My solution to work around this limitation:
- During an established call, open Corporate Directory (caller is not placed on hold)
- Search the Transfer-To Party and place a second call (placing the caller on hold)
- Once the call is established, complete the transfer by pressing the transfer key followed by the first blinking line key.
- Similarly, you can merge the two call into a three-way conference by pressing the conference key, followed by the first blinking line key.
