Cisco IP Phone, Model No. 8861, Active load sip88xx.12-0-1SR1-1
----------------------------------------------------------
Greetings and Salutations,
How can I enable the analog microphone port on this unit?
- Attempting to use an Arctis Steelseries 3 Headset via the analog connection.
- Enabled via Settings -> 4. Accessories -> Wideband enabled -> [ON]
- Headphones work with speakerphone button
- Mic does not work
- There is no similar "Wideband Enabled" setting for the mic.
- Three key-values, as follows
-- Name: Microphone
-- Device type: Peripheral
-- Configured: Yes
How can I enable both the Headphones and Microphone?
The headset itself has no issues. It works on both my home computer and iPhone.
Thanks for your help.
Sincerely,
Keith :^)

I got it.
I was using a splitter, to split out the microphone and headphone connection.
I removed the splitter, and just plugged the 3.5mm combined jack into the headset port.
It then worked with the speakerphone button.
:D
