The actual command is " Create Profile ". Once you issue this command, CME takes time before coming back to command prompt because it generates the configuration files used for provisioning SIP phones and writes the files to the location specified with the tftp-path command.

After issuing this command, see " Show Run " & you will see Sync & the hexadecimal digits ahead of Create Profile command.

Hope it helps ?

Thank You,

but why in sample configuration there is always a numer?

for example:

create profile sync 000410054377842A

and what about

destination-pattern

what is this used for?

" destination-pattern " is used in dial-peer config. It is used for indicating the dialed number/pattern. If the call matches that destination pattern then configured action in dial-peer will be applied to it. e.g. if the call matches " Destination pattern " of 9T, then usually it is an outgoing dial-peer to PSTN & thus the call will be routed through PRI port which connects the enterprise to PSTN. Similar logic applies to incoming or intersite dial-peer too.
