Cross (Over) Device-Pool Communications

Hello,

I've a client with the following scenario:

Site A contains CUCM 7.1 + CCX 7 + VG 3821 (FXO)

Site B contains CCX 7 + VG 3811 (FXO)

Site C & Site D doesn't contain any UC devices, but there are phonesets and softphones (IPC)

All sites connected over WAN (maximum of 512 Kbps)

Extension mobility is enabled, so users can use any phoneset at any of the sites. However, Users are grouped into Group A and Group B.

Each group profiles (users' profiles) are configured to use one of the gateways. Group A uses VG at site A, and group B uses VG at site B.

Both groups dials 9 for outside lines on the site they belong to, while dialing 8 for outside lines from the other side (in order to reduce the call cost).

In order to configure the SRST, both VG's (at site A & B) configured with their own device pools, and SRST

Now, and after the device pool modification is implemented, users from group A cannot use VG at site B, and vice versa!!

Additionally, both groups cannot access the CCX configuered at other site (CCX must be added to the device pool as well).

My question: is there a way to allow devices communicating with each other even if they are in deferent device pools?

Thank you,

Yes, use device mobility.

It's in the features and services guide from CUCM.
