Hello everyone,

I am trying to configure auto attender with unity connection 10.5,

First i configure CTI route point & associate a extension 5000 to that & also forward all calls on voice mail.

Second step configure end user with access group (CTI enabled, standard end user) & associate device.

Then configure system call handler in unity with same extn. 5000 & name, setup greetings caller input transfer rules etc.

But cti route point does not get register, i also restart CTI manager service.

Please help to resolve issue.

Hi @satpallamba ,

The CTI Route Point dont need to register. You can try to check this by the following methods.

Instead of CTI Route point create one dummy extension or add second line (just for testing purpose to some phone) and see of that works. If that doesn't work then problem is somewhere else(may be with the CSS, routing rule etc. If that works then we can figure out CTI RP isusue.

Thanks,

Muk

CTI RP and ports that are not associated to a TAPI/JTAPI application will NEVER register.
