CUBE error 400

Hi,

We have a CUBE and we have a problem when we receive an INVITE the CUBE responds with error 400 Bad Request

When I did a "debug ccsip all"  It seems the CUBE has problems with some options in the SDP. The SDP has these two options:

b=RS:375
b=RR:1125

In the debug there is the line:

/SIP/Info/sipSPIProcessDiversionHeader: No diversion headers recvd from app container SIP: Error: BW Modifier type unsupported (RS)

How can we change the CUBE to ignore these bandwidth modifiers?

Thanks

JH

Yeah, looks like we don't support bandwidth modifiers, at least on the 12.X IOS which is what you are running I believe. "b" param is supported but not the RS within it.
Upgrade to 15.X not sure what router it is. But upgrade it to the latest.

Hi @j.huizinga

Do you have configured CAC (call admission control) on your CUBE?

Hi,

No CAC configured at all, no where. Not needed.

I would like the CUBE to ignore these SDP options

Jan

Ok @j.huizinga

Perhaps you don't need that at all but as I concerned CAC config on my CUBE gave me that issue.

That's the reason why I ask you that.

Is it an INVITE from an ISP ?

Best regards

Can you share the log please ?

Hi,

I try to attach the log file but get the error:

The contents of the attachment doesn't match its file type.

Just a simple txt file

Any idea?

Hi,

Could be an IOS

I shall upgrade to some higher version

It is a 2811, so only the first IOS 15 is supported if I am correct

Thanks

JH

That's right. Highest that you can upgrade is 15.1. Upgrade to the latest on that train which I believe is M10.
