Hi Everyone,

A Quick Question, I have two locations (A&B (* Both locations are near by)) with Voice infrastructure (as shown in Pic).

My service provider is same and  providing link to me as active/ Standby. In case Location A goes down I 'll be able to route (inbound & outbound) Calls via location B. What I can do to achieve HA (HSRP, etc) so that Call in progress do not drop. Kindly Suggest

Cisco explicitly calls out the same switch. See if you have access to this up to date documentation:

Hi,

Please check the CUBE HSRP config guide below

Actually I have read somewhere in Cisco docs.HA  not for Geographical separate location both cube should be on same location.

in my case my location at less than 3km apart and connected via Fiber (Ethernet). However, my service provider will be same on both side. Making it active / standby. Does above guide serve the purpose for me too?

Both routers need to be connected to the same LAN and same switch at the same data center. That does not appear to be the case for you, so your options are to bring the CUBEs to the same data centers or don't deploy box-to-box redundancy and keep them independent relying on configuration failover, etc.

Does it make any difference if the routers terminated on same switch or those are terminated on two different switches and switches are interconnected? My DC are connected over Layer2

Cisco explicitly calls out the same switch. See if you have access to this up to date documentation:

What router models are you using for the CUBEs? HSRP is supported on ISRs and ISR2s only. If you have 4XXX routers you need to enable box-to-box redundancy which requires an interface on each router connected to switch (cross-over not supported).

We are using 4xxx voice gateways
