CUBE, Lync & Call Forward

Gordon Ross

I have a CUBE (IOS 15.2.1(T)) connecting between an MS-Lync system and a CUCM 8.6 system.

Normal calls are going through the CUBE fine. But when a Lync number is call forwarded back to CUCM, the divert call fails.

Doing a Wireshark, I can see the SIP message to setup the new call leg come into CUBE:

INVITE sip:01AAAAAAAA@172.18.1.249;user=phone SIP/2.0

FROM: "G Ross (CS)"<sip:BBBBB;phone-context=PstnGateway_172.18.1.249@acme.com;user=phone>;epid=7FD7CE0A07;tag=d88c165560

TO: <sip:AAAAAAAAAA@172.18.1.249;user=phone>

CSEQ: 27001 INVITE

CALL-ID: c6900010-58d8-43f6-b086-006f9dd8ed0c

MAX-FORWARDS: 70

VIA: SIP/2.0/TCP 172.18.3.241:59407;branch=z9hG4bK3323b06f

CONTACT: <sip:acme.com:5060;transport=Tcp;maddr=172.18.3.241;ms-opaque=cd9dc7108349c7d9>

CONTENT-LENGTH: 340

REFERRED-BY: <tel:+44CCCCCCCCC;ext=605>

SUPPORTED: 100rel

USER-AGENT: RTCC/4.0.0.0 MediationServer

CONTENT-TYPE: application/sdp

ALLOW: ACK

Allow: CANCEL,BYE,INVITE,PRACK,UPDATE

but nothing goes out to CUCM. (and so Lync times out the setup of this new call leg)

In the CUBE config, I've got:

voice service voip

  sip

   referto-passing

and also:

dial-peer voice 9999 voip

voice-class sip referto-passing

Any suggestions as to what to do, or where to look ?

Thanks,

GTG

hi Gordon,

Can you upload the full sip trace you have collected  along with the complete call flow and  show run from the cube?

Thanks,

Karthik
