CUBE PVDM / DSP Usage

In the context of a CUBE, I know that transcoding and DTMF signaling changes wil invoke DSP resources.  I also assume that stream splitting for call recording applications will also use DSP's.

Are there any other CUBE configurations that will require DSP's?

Thanks.

I believe you covered it, transcoding, transrating, MTP and another one if you decide to use it would be hardware conferencing.

HTH,

Chris

To be clear - media forking for recording does, or does not require DSPs?

I can't find anything that says it does, but also nothing that says it doesn't.

What does the DSP calculator say?
