CUBE - transfer and release?

Customer is asking to be able to transfer a call that is arriving on a SIP gateway to an outside number, and release the call so it is not hairpinned through the cube.

Is there a way to do this?

Did you every figure anything out? From my own research on this, it's not possible with CUCM and CUBE.

You know, someone pointed out to me that it seems to be possible using certain SIP message headers....I never got a chance to test it. 

I'll have to dig that out and circle back on it.
