Hi all,

Do you know if Cube is supported in an environment with redundant Geth ports going to separate VLANs ?

i.e.,

     -------------Inbound SIP Trunks ----- GE0/1 -Cube - Ge1/0 ------- VLAN 1            |

                                                                             |_Ge0/2_____________ VLAN2  | _________CUSP, CVP, UCCE,

It's doable, but what what be the reason for doing this?

Chris

Thanks Chris,  The reason for this is to eliminate a Single Point of failure from the Cube to the ethernet switch.  If one switch port fails, we'd have a backup.

If the CUBE is connecting to the same layer 2 then use Etherchannel, if separate networks then use loopback interface and utilize routing protocol.
