We have 2 * 7861 phones using self-provisioning with no users. The Phones were manually registered with the wrong DN's. I dissociated the mac addresses and tried changing the DN round. I cant register the phones via the IVR when putting in the DN number it responds with "Not a valid identification number". This is working for other 7861 Phones. I have deleted both the DN and the Phone devices which have both been factory reset without resolving the issue.
I also tried manually assigning the DN but the phones still sit there with the autoprov numbers.
Any ideas? Is there something I am missing, is the correct process to swap the MAC addresses or disassociate and then reapply? Are there any logs that may help explain what is wrong?
