CUCM 12.5.1 - LDAP Authentication to Sub Domain

Hi Gurus,

Currently in CUCM, have1 integration for user to LDAP with domain: abc.domain.com.

I need some help to achieve the objective which is to integrate another domain in the same tree which: def.domain.com

Understand from LDAP Directory we can add 1 Integration point which is def.domain.com.

For Authentication, what i understand is we can only have 1 Authentication point in CUCM.

For the current setup the ldap authentication point to abc.domain.com with search base as dc=abc, dc=domain, dc=com.

In that case to achieve the authentication for abc.domain.com and def.domain.com

Should i put the the LDAP Authentication point to the root : domain.com, in that case able to authenticate both child domain?

Is that possible?

Thanks,

Keeping domain.com should work

Yes this should work. In this case, your LDAP will act as a global catalog
to allow authentication and lookup again all child domains.
