Hi all,
I’m running CUCM 14 with TimeZone version 2021c. Due to government regulations, daylight saving time is no longer observed since last year, and the correct time zone offset is now +3:30.
In version 2021c, daylight saving was still enabled, so the system was using +4:30.
I’ve recently installed timezone update 2023c, and now CUCM correctly shows +3:30. The show ntp status command also confirms the correct time.
However, SCCP phones are still showing +4:30, and the time on them has not changed.
The following command output also shows that Daylight Saving is disabled in CUCM, yet the phones seem unaffected.
admin:utils update dst
DST rules file already created for the current year.
admin:run sql select * from typetimezone where name ='Asia/Tehran'
enum name description moniker bias stddate stdbias dstdate dstbias abbreviation legacyname

Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas on how to force SCCP phones to update their time?

Hi Carlo
The IP Phones are 7945 with firmware version 9.2

That is a pretty old firmware version. Suggest that you upgrade to a more current version, preferably the latest available.
