CUCM & 3911 SIP issues

CUCM 7.1.3

Hi,

We have a series of phones that have registered and work as expected like 7912, 7940, and 7960's. However when I register and add a DN to a 3911 it can't place calls and doesn't have the typical dialtone sound. It can recieve calls to it however. It's a SIP phone running firmware SIP3951.8-1-2SR1.

I saw some discussion on enabling 'Media Termination Point Required', but I don't see that in CUCM Admin > Media Resources > Media Termination Point or within the gateways.

Simple solution was there was no User associated with the DN. After adding a user to the DN, it could call as expected. Rookie mistake
