CUCM 4.1 & Fxo card

Hi

Have anyone seen this before? I have an MGCP gateway which has an FXO card. The problem I am having is that the FXO ports are registered with the WAN interface IP Address instead of the VLAN IP Address.

For example, my WAN IP is something like 10.112.0.16 and my Voice VLAN IP is 10.112.16.1. The ports are showing the WAN IP address but no the voice IP address.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Probably that's caused because your WAN interface is the best route to your CUCM, try binding MGCP to an interface

ie:

mgcp bind control source-interface FastEthernet0/1

mgcp bind media source-interface FastEthernet0/1

The problem is that we are using MetroE; therefore, I have Fa0/0 for MetroE (10.112.0.16) and Fa0/1 for internal network (10.112.16.1).

My CUCM can be reached through the Fa0/0 so I am going to run into the same problem. Any other suggestions?
